High Performance Liquid Chromatography Fingerprinting of Flavonoids Between Parents and Generations in Barley Grain

摘要: Barley is a self-pollination of plants, species rich in resources with flavonoids which have a wide range of biological activity. In this study, the fingerprints of flavonoids are studied between Parents and F-1 generations in barley grain. The HPLC were determined on a C18 column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 micron) eluted with 0.1% acetic acid aqueous solution (A) and acetonitrile (B) as mobile phases in a linear gradient elution, and with the flowrate of 0.8 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm. As a result, the different variety of barley and its generations showed different HPLC fingerprints, different types of flavonoids express differences between parents and F-1 generations. Not only the group of high x high combinations but that of high x low combinations can produce heterosis.
