Separation of enantiomers by high performance liquid chromatography using derivants of L-proline as chiral mobile phase additives

摘要: N-dodecanoyl-L-proline and N-dodecanoyl-L-proline-3, 5-dimethylanilide derived from L-proline were used as chiral mobile phase additives. Enantiomers were separated using hexane and isopropanol as mobile phase on a aminopropyl silica gel column by high performance liquid chromatography. The results show that the enantioselectivity of N-dodecanoyl-L-proline is better and eight enantiomers of the twelve enantiomers can be separated. The enantioselectivity of N-dodecanoyl-L-proline-3,5-dimethyl-anilide is also good, but the basic line fluctuates strongly due to containing benzene ring in its molecular structure.
