Genealogical analysis of IRAT upland rice varieties

摘要: Totally, 164 upland rice varieties were bred by IRAT (Research Institute For Tropical Agriculture and Food Crops, now CIRAD-CA) From 1963 to 1992, among which 59% was japonica rice, pureline selection and hybridization were major breeding methods. Genealogical analysis indicated that 63-83, Moroberekan and IAC 25 were the core parents. Among 40 diversified cytoplasm resources, 63-83 played remarkable role.
